The filmmaker Geoff Stump and subject, Klaus Obermeyer were awarded top prize at the 2011 Nepsa Awards in advance of The Meeting in Aspen, Colorado.
This winter, take a Rocky Mountain ride with the series titled “KLAUS” featuring the best young athletes, the greatest stories, many laughs and the classic turns of 92-year-old Klaus Obermeyer. Geoff Stump will film and facilitate as Klaus and friends glide through the 2012 season.

The short film, An Extreme NEPSA featuring Rick Dixon received the Nepsa top prize at Aspen’s snow sports film conference, The Meeting in September, 2011. The film features 92 year-old ski industry icon Klaus Obermeyer. Please view the short below.

Geoff Stump is a veteran free skier, filmmaker and ski coach based in Aspen, Colorado. Stump serves as a bridge from the older to the younger generation, being a coach and a filmmaker combined, he uses humor, high definition (HD) video and a wellspring of ski experience to produce outstanding films.
